Course Overview
The Epic Hygiene is a dental laser intended for the treatment of specific soft-tissue conditions, in particular for the ablation, vaporization and coagulation of oral soft-tissue, including marginal and interdental gingival and the epithelial lining of free gingiva.
The Epic Hygiene laser must be present.
Learning Objectives
Demonstrate competency, knowledge and skill in utilizing the laser to manage established patient conditions. This course will include both didactic and innovative virtual hands on instruction in the following areas:
- Pocket Therapy: Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR)
- Perio Debridement: Laser Assisted Periodontoal Therapy (LAPT)
- Managing of Oral Ulcerations (herpes labialis and apthous ulcers)
- Hemostasis
